It is with great sadness that the we announce the passing of John Walmsley, Non-executive Director and former Chairman of Pantheon Resources plc.

John has been a highly regarded figure in the UK Oil and Gas sector over the past 35 years through his roles as both an advisor and a principal, in the UK as well as internationally. In addition to his stewardship of Pantheon, John will be remembered for his roles as CEO of Hardy Oil & Gas, Finance Director of Enterprise Oil plc, Chairman of Consilience Energy Advisory Group Ltd and for his role as a Tax partner at Arthur Anderson where he advised the Energy Sector.

Our thoughts go out to John’s family and friends at this difficult and sad time.
