Badley Ashton has a long history of providing training to the oil and gas industry and are always happy to share their experience and knowledge. As part of these efforts, the company recently ran two Carbonate Geology Courses at their Lincolnshire office. Delegates from both Industry and Academia attended a 5 day course on Carbonate Sedimentology, Diagenesis and Reservoir Quality Evaluation followed by a 3 day course on Carbonate Core Description.

Presented by Dr. Laura Galluccio and Dr. Thomas Haines the first course provides an overview of the principles of carbonate sedimentology sand their application to hydrocarbon exploration and production while the second one builds practical skills in carbonate reservoir characterisation.
