Sound Energy Announces Directorate Change

Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Clarkson as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect. 
 
David brings over 40 years' experience in the oil & gas industry and was formerly a member of BP's Group Leadership Team and Senior Vice President for Projects and Engineering (Upstream) at BP. In this role, he had responsibility for a functional business unit that managed a circa US$20 billion annualised capex budget and employed circa 1,500 project and engineering professionals. Throughout a 38 year career with BP, David held a variety of other senior project management and delivery roles in countries including Iraq, Indonesia, the USA and the UK. David is a non-executive director of Savannah Petroleum plc and was formerly Chief Operating Officer of Bowleven plc. David is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
