H.E.Taur Matan Ruak, The Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste will be announcing the Open Door Round of Timor-Leste, during a special session during the Timor-Leste Oil & Gas Summit in Dili Covention Center, on Thursday 3rd October 2019. This announcement will be followed by two days of conferences dedicated to technical presentations to detail the hydrocarbon proven potential, contractual, fiscal, legal and regulatory regime for the exploration and the exploitation of petroleum resources, and business registration in the country.

Along side, H.E. the  Prime Minister of Timor-Leste,  the special representative  of the Government of Timor-Leste for the Petroleum Sector, H.E. Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao, joined  by Dino da Silva, the President of country's petroleum and minerals regulatory authority, the Autoridade Nacional do Petróleo e Minerais (ANPM), TGS/Spectrum, ION Geophysical and many esteemed industry partners, will release information on available blocks, the improved fiscal terms, round timings and conditions of the 1st onshore and the 2nd offshore Timor-Leste's Licensing Round, open internationally  to all companies to bid on.

The acreage on offer will include 18 blocks, with more details to be released Thursday 3rd October 2019.
