Draupner Energy has been offered new Production Licences covering Blocks 38/22b, 38/23a, 38/21b and 38/22c on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) by the UK Oil and Gas Authority in the 31st Offshore Round.
”We are very pleased with the award which covers part of the Balvenie prospect identified in our licence P2331 awarded in the 29th Offshore Round, where recent re-evaluation has matured a potential in excess of 200 million barrels of oil equivalents (mmboe) in recoverable gas and condensate, as well as the Durham prospect, holding a potential of 125 mmboe”, says Kees Jongepier, Director of Draupner Energy.
