Contract wins for networks and communications specialist Arrowdawn

03/06/2020

Arrowdawn, a leading networks and communications firm, has secured contracts with three companies it has been working with for 10 years.

The Aberdeen-based business will continue to provide 24/7 maintenance support to long-standing clients in the legal, oilfield services and global logistics sectors. The contracts are each for one year with options for renewals.

The combined value of these latest contracts is £100,000. This latest announcement follows a series of contracts won in the first quarter of this year.

Gordon Adie, managing director at Arrowdawn (pictured above), said:
“We’re delighted to have supported each of these three companies over the past decade. It is testament to our unrelenting commitment to customer service, our commitment to proactive support and our dedication to deliver projects with quality and value in mind at all times that we have retained these contracts.”

Arrowdawn, which supports more than 300 client offices across 25 countries, will deliver the projects to businesses seeking additional support and maintenance of existing infrastructure.

The latest contracts, which span 100 office locations, are for global voice and data monitoring, support and maintenance of communication solutions and VoIP phone support, monitoring and maintenance.

The contracts won earlier this year include replacing existing network and infrastructure for a client in the aerospace industry, and refreshing and renewing firewalls across a number of airports.

In addition, a leading energy services company brought Arrowdawn on board to provide global network support and to replace firewalls for its western hemisphere operations; a law firm sought out support for the installation of a new company-wide phone system and a global industrial services business required multiple project support.  Arrowdawn also provided a new communications hub for a large Scottish port.

Arrowdawn, a Cisco specialist and Fortinet partner, delivers a broad range of network services and communications products and services to customers including data network infrastructure, wifi connectivity, VoIP and security solutions.

In addition, it has – in recent weeks – supported several businesses with virtual private network (VPN) projects as companies look to support remote working or staff working from home due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

The company specialises in the integration and migration of customer networks, particularly those requiring connectivity between multiple sites on a global scale. In addition, it has separated and integrated networks for clients following merger and acquisition activity.

Arrowdawn provides proactive 24/7 maintenance and monitoring support to clients with direct contact to an engineer rather than a call centre.  The business was established in 2000 and provides its services across a broad range of markets including energy, professional services and the voluntary sector.

The company’s HQ is in Aberdeen, with further operations in Inverness and Edinburgh. However, all staff have been working from home since the start of lockdown.
