Petrofac has been ranked number one in Oil & Gas Middle East magazine’s Top 30 EPC Contractors list for 2018.

The ranking also marks the eighth year in a row that we’ve taken one of the top four spots.

The report takes into account factors such as the volume and value of contract wins, revenues earned, and future potential to rank the 30 most prominent contracting companies that operate in the Middle East and North Africa region’s energy sector.

The magazine referred to a number of key projects Petrofac has won in the past year, including:

• A US$800 million lump-sum EPCC contract for the BP Khazzan Phase 2 project in Oman
• A US$160 million O&M contract for Basra Oil Company’s Iraq Crude Oil Export Expansion Project
• A 10-year Framework Agreement with Petroleum Development Oman for the provision of EP+Cm Support Services for major oil and gas projects
