Leading hydraulics company Micron Eagle has announced a distributor agreement with multinational Danfoss.

The deal with the Danish engineering giant means Micron Eagle Hydraulics is the only Scottish-based service centre and authorised distributor for Danfoss Power Solutions.  Danfoss products in this sector include those previously under the Sauer Sundstrand banner.

Micron Eagle supply, service and repair the majority of hydraulic power transmission equipment solutions such as pumps, motors, valves and ancillary components for the energy, marine, power generation, agriculture and industrial markets. 
 
Established in 1990, Micron Eagle, based at Blackburn, near Aberdeen, continues to build its enviable reputation as a comprehensive hydraulic specialist. Component and equipment repair, full overhauls, system fault finding and upgrades, new component and complete system supply and installation as well as filtration and equipment rental all form part of its offering to the market.
 
Successful projects in the past include offshore and onshore turbine starter system upgrades, power generation hydraulic control systems, reel and tensioner control systems, deployment control systems, testing and commissioning scopes of work.
