Alongside the main technical sessions, there is an exciting programme of fringe events at PETEX 2021. To book your place on any of the fringe events, simply register for PETEX for the day/s of the fringe event(s) you plan to attend. All registrations will include full access to the PETEX Conference and Exhibition as well.

Here’s what is lined up:

SIG  & RB HUB
Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th November | Days 1 & 2

This is the perfect opportunity to hear from the PESGB Special Interest Groups (SIG) and Regional Branches (RB) and find out more about their specific topic focus and upcoming activities. Our SIGs and RBs will give individual presentations and you’ll also have the chance to speak with fellow professionals who share your areas of interest!

UK EXPLORATION FORUM
Wednesday 24th November | Day 2

PROSPEX at PETEX will open with the UK Exploration Forum breakfast meeting from 08:00 – 10:00. This will be a fantastic opportunity to network with other explorers active in the UK, as well as join discussions on future opportunities and challenges for the industry.

To attend this meeting, please choose a ‘UK Exploration Forum’ ticket during the booking process. This is a single day ticket and will include access to the 1st day of PROSPEX presentations, along with access to the PETEX exhibition and presentations.

PROSPEX AT PETEX
Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th November | Days 2 & 3

PROSPEX is coming to PETEX! Over 2-days, you’ll hear from companies and agencies who have exciting prospects and investment opportunities to share, both in the UK and internationally. There will also be a keynote talk from Oil & Gas Authority, as well as presentations on success stories and future energy opportunities. Head to the exhibition floor to view poster presentations and interact with company representatives.

AFRICA LIVE EVENT
Thursday 25th November | Day 3

For the first time, we will be hosting an Africa Live Event at PETEX! There is a full oral presentation programme showcasing abstracts with topics that span across the regions of Africa. You’ll hear some fantastic collaborations with Universities, as well as talks from Eco Atlantic Oil and Gas, Schlumberger, Egypt, and other key players on the continent.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
