Today marks the three-year anniversary of TenzorGEO Ltd. Ivan Starostin, CEO highlights the company's achievements to date.
"In our efforts to bring our onshore microseismic technology offshore to the UKCS, I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work side by side with some great people in the industry.
I would like to pay tribute to OGTC for their support in the beginning of our passage; to David Millar and his team who helped us through our defining TechX accelerator journey, to Chris Pearson and Hayleigh Pearson and the Marginal Developments Solution Centre (Small Pools) team for helping with our First Offshore Field Trial and Gillian White and the Subsurface Solution Centre team. To Martin Ewan who contributed a great deal to our legal soundness, to Andrew McCallum and entire team of Aspect Reputation for their ongoing creative energy and to our mentors and advisers Peter Murphy and Andrew Hurst who were always there for me. To Scott Graham and Murray Bainbridge from Scottish Enterprise for helping us in finding new business opportunities, to Evylin McDonald and Kevin Walls from Scottish Edge who helped us when we needed funding the most and to Onno Bliss and the management and engineering teams at KUM for their in-depth knowledge and high spirit throughout. To everyone else who are not mentioned but who helped us on this journey- I am truly grateful.
To our industry partners in Germany, Australia, Russia and the Caspian Sea region, I say thank you.
COVID-19 struck and we lost loved ones, exploration budgets were cut and our colleagues in the industry lost their source of livelihood. Not giving up, but becoming stronger than before, we continued to engage with our investors, partners and the industry. We realised an opportunity to transition and advance the application of our technology to the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) industry, inspired by talks with Myrtle Dawes. It gladdens my heart that we are now working on a potential second offshore field trial and advancing our software in order to deploy both our technologies as an integrated monitoring solution for CO2 storage sites in the near future. And yet this still has relevant application in reservoir monitoring across producing fields.
Finally, to the team at TenzorGEO, we have grown through the difficult times; working nights and weekends to meet tight deadlines. I appreciate you all and I know good and prosperous times lie ahead. Happy third anniversary, TenzorGEO!"
