KEYFACT Energy
Cambridge Carbonates has available three one-day virtual courses that cover the main economic intervals of the Arabian Plate. Each course is focused on the subsurface geology but has excellent reference to outcrop equivalents and analogues. The main area covered is Kurdistan, down into the Gulf region, and into Interior Oman. The courses are intended to present a regional-scale ‘look down’ introduction, emphasising the larger-scale processes that are important at play fairway analysis level.
- 11 October 2022: Lower Cretaceous (AP8)
- 18 October 2022: Later Cretaceous to Cenozoic (AP9-10-11)
- 25 October 2022: Late Permian to Jurassic (AP6-7)
