DEVEX 2023 announces that Clara Altobell FEI, Vice President for ESG and Business Innovation at Serica Energy will be a Keynote Speaker at the upcoming event. Clara’s presentation will be focused on the theme of 20 year’s of DEVEX. 

Clara has over twenty-five years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, starting out as a petroleum engineer, working globally and managing different aspects of the industry. More recently her focus has been closer to home in the UK North Sea, with Serica’s Erskine, Bruce, Keith and Rhum fields. With her role in ESG and business innovations, Clara is now helping to steer Serica through the energy transition, looking at ways to reduce emissions and make a positive ESG impact.

DEVEX 2023 marks the 20th DEVEX Conference and it is the only technical conference of its size which is focused on the full E&P project cycle; from exploration, appraisal, development and production (early, mid and late life) through to CCUS and decommissioning.

Energy Security and Sustainability is one of the key challenges facing society today. The conference will consider this subject and ask the industry: “What are we doing to accelerate projects, reduce costs, increase production and reduce emissions?”

DEVEX 2023 will be a platform to share ideas and lessons learned that have led to material gains and optimised performance; ultimately driving increased energy security and sustainability. This will be delivered via a series of keynotes, case histories, techbytes, masterclasses and networking sessions.
