Holt Energy Advisors today announced that Mohamed Mahmoud Sidi Ould Betam has joined the HEA team as Director - Africa and Middle East. Mohamed holds a Master’s degree in Oil and Gas Management with distinction from the University of East London and is an alumnus of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship program, fully funded by the UK Government and BP. He is also a Mandela Washington Fellow, selected by the U.S. Government for his leadership in the energy sector in Africa. He has previously served as Country Representative for Cody Earth Solutions and the Mauritania British Business Council (MBBC).
Mohamed will lead the development of HEA’s business in Africa and the Middle East and has considerable experience promoting investment and partnerships throughout Africa’s energy landscape. He will also support HEA’s commercial, economic analysis and A&D projects internationally.
