BWEA has completed the first project under their on-going agreement to provide subsurface technical advisory support to Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company Ltd (‘CHC’), the National Oil and Gas Company of Cyprus.
BWEA’s Geoscience Director Jon Wix commented,
“This has been a very successful project, utilising our team’s skills across a range of subsurface disciplines, and completed on time and to budget. We very much look forward to undertaking more projects for CHC in the coming months.”
Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company is the National Oil and Gas Company of Cyprus. As a state-owned company established in 2014, CHC has the mandate to act as the technical and commercial arm of the Government of Cyprus (GoC) on matters relating to exploration, production and monetization of Oil and Gas reserves from the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Cyprus.
