Cable Moulding

The STR cable moulding and termination facility has expertise in the design, manufacture and testing of OEM and custom electrical, video and fibre optic cables for use in underwater, topside and other harsh environments. Our OEM equivalent polyurethane moulding processes are proven to deliver the highest quality product without compromise. Alongside the supply of connectors, cables, terminations and mouldings, STR specialise in fibre-optic and oil-filled pressure balanced cable solutions - often the preferred choice of ROV operators working in deep waters. Our trained fibre optic technicians can support singlemode and multimode fibre cables and we can provide our clients worksite diagnostics and re-termination services.

Calibration Services

A range of calibration services are now available at STR including sound velocity, temperature, pressure and conductivity. With guidance from industry leading manufactures our new calibration laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and is operated by qualified engineers to international standards.

Flooded Member Detection

The STR Sea Gamma Flooded Member Detection (FMD) system is the method of choice for the inspection and monitoring of subsea components for the detection of water ingress. FMD inspection technique can also be applied to locating blockages in pipelines as a result of pigging or silt build up.
