Founded in 2005, RAK Petroleum Public Company Limited is uniquely positioned in the heart of the world’s most prolific hydrocarbons provinces as an energy company with a proven track record and strong connections in the Middle East and Africa.

RAK Petroleum transformed itself in 2012 by exchanging its operated oil and gas assets for an enhanced stake now totaling 42.8 percent in the shareholding of Norwegian-listed DNO International ASA and by acquiring privately-held Mondoil Enterprises, LLC in an all share transaction a year later. Today, with its experienced management team, the Company is focused on supporting the growth strategies of both DNO International and Mondoil Enterprises while scouring the horizon for other attractively priced energy assets where RAK Petroleum’s regional expertise and roots can help unlock value. The company currently hold indirect interest in over 20 blocks in various stages of exploration, development and production across eight countries

RAK Petroleum expanded its investment portfolio in April 2013 by acquiring Mondoil Enterprises which holds an interest in Cote d’Ivoire Block 27 containing that country’s largest gas field, Foxtrot.
