Description

Baron Oil is an independent oil and gas exploration company headquartered in London. The Company currently holds interests in exploration acreage in SE Asia (Timor-Leste), Latin America (Peru) and the UK. 

In Timor-Leste, Baron holds a 75% indirect interest in the Chuditch PSC which contains the Chuditch-1 gas discovery, drilled by Shell in 1998.

In the UK, Baron executed a farmin agreement in August 2021, which increased its interest from 15% to 32% (subject to the approval of the UK Oil and Gas Authority) in P2478 (Blocks 12/27c, 17/5, 18/1 and 18/2), which was awarded under the 31st Round of Offshore Licensing.

In Peru, Baron has a 100% interest in Onshore licence Block XXI.
