Tim Goodwin, Founder and Director
Tim has over 38 years’ experience largely with Arco International Oil & Gas and BP Exploration in a range of technical and managerial positions. Initial assignments focused on UK exploration, operations and petrophysical roles before completing operational assignments in Egypt and the UAE.

Following Team Lead roles with Arco in UK exploration operations, West of Britain Exploration and Algerian Exploration/New Ventures, he moved to BP as Lead Geologist for UK CNS HPHT Development and Production. With BP he led UK & NW Europe Exploration, Global Strategic NV Projects and Namibian Exploration Teams.

On retirement from BP Tim currently consults as TJGX Ltd. Most recently he has been with CNOOC as Europe-Africa-ME-Asia New Ventures Advisor.

Tim holds a BSc in geology from Kings College, London , has been a Fellow of the Geological Society since 1979 and Chartered Geologist since 1998. He is a long standing member of the PESGB and more recently AAPG.
