Description
Stena Renewable is part of the ongoing and future energy conversion towards a climate-friendly energy production. The company design, build and manage their wind farms for long-term ownership and currently operate 115 wind turbines.
In 2018, AMF and KLP acquired a significant share of the shares in Stena Renewable AB from Stena Adactum AB to jointly realize Stena Renewable's extensive project portfolio. The transaction meant that AMF acquired 35% and KLP 30% of the shares in Stena Renewable. Stena Adactum remains the main owner with a 35% ownership interest. With new owners and capital injections, opportunities are created to finance the investments required to become a large-scale industrial and renewable energy company.
