In December 2018 ONE and Dyas announced that agreement has been reached on the merger of their upstream energy businesses, in a combined entity called ONE-Dyas. This merger was completed in April 2019.

ONE-Dyas B.V. is the largest privately owned exploration and production operating company in the Netherlands.

The company are strategically positioned in some of the world’s most exciting regions: the North Sea (Netherlands, United Kingdom, Norway and Denmark), West Africa (Gabon) and South-East Asia (Malaysia), with 200 million boe of reserves and in total some 700 million boe of unrisked prospective resources.

ONE-Dyas has extensive experience managing a successful and balanced upstream portfolio of operated and non-operated exploration and production assets in the North Sea, Gabon and Malaysia. Their approach is that of carefully-planned strategy underpinned by technical expertise, geographical diversification, and cost effective development and operations.

The ONE-Dyas production profile shows an average production base of some 35,000 boe per day at least until end 2020, with the potential to grow thereafter.

ONE-Dyas’ main focus has historically been on non-operated oil and gas ventures in the British and Dutch North Sea, which they have been able to grow, diversify and renew with significant success over the last 30 years.

ONE-Dyas is now focusing on strategic and exponential growth through the acquisition of operational development and production assets in the North Sea, both within and outside of their existing portfolio. The company are also looking to take advantage of attractive investment opportunities to expand their West African operated asset base. In balancing assets within competitive, low-risk markets and emerging, higher-risk regions, ONE-Dyas is building a diversified multi-asset portfolio spanning diverse geographical regions, with enormous upside and production potential.
