Talos Energy (NYSE: TALO) is a technically driven independent exploration and production company focused on safely and efficiently maximizing cash flows and long-term value through its operations, currently in the United States Gulf of Mexico and offshore Mexico. As one of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico's largest public independent producers, the company leverage decades of geology, geophysics and offshore operations expertise towards the acquisition, exploration, exploitation and development of assets in key geological trends that are present in many offshore basins around the world. 

Talos is one of the largest independent companies in the Gulf of Mexico, with operations across a range of deepwater and shallow water assets activities while offshore Mexico provides high impact exploration opportunities in an oil rich emerging basin.

Production and reserves

In 2020, production was 59.4 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day ("MBoe/d") net. The year-end production exit rate was over 71.0 MBoe/d net.

Talos reported year-end 2020 proved reserves of 163 MMBoe (67% oil, 78% proved developed), increasing by approximately 21 MMBoe from year end 2019.
