Description

Aker BP is a fully-fledged E&P company with exploration, development and production activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

Measured in production, Aker BP is one of the largest independent oil companies in Europe.

Aker BP’s net production was 17.6 (13.4) mmboe in the fourth quarter of 2019, corresponding to 191.1 (146.1) mboepd. Due to underlift in the quarter, net sold volume represented 184.5 (143.3) mboepd. The average realized liquids price was USD 64.2 (62.0) per barrel, while the average realized gas price was USD 0.17 (0.16) per scm. 

For 2021, the company's financial plan consists of the following main items:

  • Production 210-220 mboepd net to Aker BP
  • Production cost USD 8.5-9.0 per boe, representing a reduction in underlying cost level in Norwegian kroner.
  • Increased investment in profitable growth, with total capital spend of USD 2.2-2.3 billion
