Blue Star Exploration Ghana Limited is an independent indigenous Ghanaian oil and gas exploration and production company. Blue Star’s aspires to be an African independent oil and gas exploration company focusing on frontier exploration acreage and brown field assets.

In July 214, Blue Star and its partners, Heritage Oil Limited and GNPC Exploration and Production Company Limited, were awarded two high impact exploration licences offshore Ghana in the prolific Tano Basin and marginally explored Keta Basin.
Blue Star led the sub-surface analysis and commercial negotiations with the Government of Ghana required to identify and secure the Petroleum Agreements.
The company’s strategy requires it to actively add assets to its portfolio especially in the West African region and also explore other parts of the oil and gas value chain.
