Description

Founded in 2001, Tethys Oil is a Swedish oil company with focus on onshore areas with known oil discoveries.Tethys Oil’s core area is Oman, where the Company holds interests in Blocks 3&4 and Block 49. The reserve and resource base on Blocks 3&4 amounts to 22.0 mmbo of 2P reserves and the 17.3 mmbo of 2C Contingent Resources. Tethys Oil’s main operational target is incremental increases of production and reserves from the Omani blocks. Tethys Oil also has onshore exploration licences in Lithuania and France and some production in Lithuania.
