Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij BV (NAM) is a 50/50 JV between Shell and Exxon.

NAM is an exploration and production company with authentic Dutch roots. Its headquarters are located in Assen in the Netherlands. NAM’s core business is exploring for and producing oil and gas, both onshore and offshore in the Netherlands.

Founded in 1947, NAM is the leading natural gas producer in the Netherlands. The Groningen field accounts for roughly 70% of the company's gas production, with the remaining 30% of their production sourced from various smaller fields elsewhere on the Dutch mainland and in the North Sea.
