Wind farms

Unlike traditional energy companies, Ilmatar are involved in all stages of the life cycle of their wind power projects. The company map locations, acquire financing for the projects and monitor both the construction work and the operation of completed wind farms.

For almost 10 years, Ilmatar has been building wind power around Finland. Each project is guided by the same principle: the goal is to produce sustainable energy in a way that benefits landowners, local communities, municipalities, customers and eventually the whole country. From the very beginning, Ilmatar ensure that all major local stakeholders are familiar with the entire construction process of wind power. Ilmatar's wind farms are completely market-based, built without any subsidies.

The preparation of a project involves years of research. Construction will not begin before all the required permits have been granted. Finally, Ilmatar start producing the cleanest energy from the cleanest air in the world.
