Description

OMV Aktiengesellschaft is one of Austria’s largest listed industrial companies. In Upstream, OMV has a strong base in Romania and Austria and a balanced international portfolio in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australasia. The company generates around 90% of production from EU/OECD countries and is investing in assets in low-cost countries to guarantee reserve replenishment. OMV is a leader in various technologies for oil and gas exploration, enabling it to maximize production even from very mature fields

OMV operates a gas pipeline network in Austria and gas storage facilities in Austria and Germany.

Production and reserves

In the fourth quarter of 2019, production increased by 58 kboe/d to 505 kboe/d.

Proved reserves (1P) as of December 31, 2019, increased to 1,332 mn boe.
