Moesia Oil and Gas plc is an independent petroleum exploration and production company with awarded licences and active new venture programmes in Southeast Europe. The company’s name is derived from the ancient Roman province of Moesia which was located in Southeast Europe close to the Danube. This area is one of the world’s oldest petroleum producing regions with a wealth of opportunities and technical and operational know how.
The company was incorporated in Ireland during 2008 with the aim of establishing an attractive and profitable petroleum company with early oil and gas production. The corporate structure is low cost and is designed to focus expenditure on delivering new assets and adding value to existing assets.
A focussed business development programme is constructing a quality portfolio of oil and gas assets within the Company’s initial area of interest of Central and Eastern Europe.
