
The Opergy Group is a collection of small high growth companies with a range of complimentary skills and services. The company focus on supporting business growth across a range of clean energy and energy transition sectors together with future Net Zero energy solutions.
The first of these companies is Opergy, first set up by Johnathan Reynolds and Kim Duffy in late 2019, with Martin Dronfield joining as a Shareholder and Director in late 2020. Opergy Scotland was initiated in early 2022, before then launching in October 2022, with the well-known Scottish energy consultancy, EC20, being merged into the Opergy Group with founder and principal, Isla Robb, becoming Opergy Scotland Managing Director.
Shortly after Opergy was launched, a sister company – Net Zero East, was set up, along with, Hydrogen East, with the former dedicated to establishing a further platform for growth, and the latter devoted to helping establish a regional presence in the hydrogen sector.
More recently, Opergy has become a shareholder in Continuum ApS, the world’s first industrial scale wind turbine blade recycling company, while the company are also partners in a program called STEM Hub, which is focussed on attracting young people into the energy sector.
