GEPlan Consulting s.r.l. is a consulting firm based in Italy and founded in 1998. Since 2003 the company has opened a petroleum division that can provide innovative and integrated consulting services for international E&P companies operating in the oil business.
From its base in Ferrara, GEPlan Consulting covers the full range of E&P expertise and has been and continues to be involved in several industry-sponsored research projects related to reservoir characterisation.
With over 10 years in the oil industry, GEPlan has gained substantial experience in Europe, in the Mediterranean Sea, in North Africa, North Sea, in the Middle East, in Latin America and in many other regions and sedimentary basins around the world.
GEPlan’s projects range from single well studies to full field reservoir static models, and cover a wide spectrum of technical skills in carbonate, clastic and fractured reservoir characterisation and circum-mediterranean oil and gas prospectivity. The company's large, multi-disciplinary carbonate and clastic specialist teams are carefully structured so they can provide clear integrated solutions to today's industry challenges.
Since 2004 GEPlan has also run training courses for international associations & oil companies.
