Following its creation in 2004, the company began its activities as an advisory and consulting business for international oil & gas companies, which had a particular desire to develop ties with African countries and energy traders.

With a wealth of experience gained over many years from working with a wide range of international market players, Philia took the strategic decision from 2012 to trade on its own account.

Today, Philia is a multi-strategy, fully-integrated business and is specialized in upstream, mid-stream, as well as downstream oil and gas activities.
