MNP Petroleum Corp. (formerly MANAS Petroleum) is a petroleum exploration company, that has begun the process of transforming itself into a petroleum exploration and production company.
MNP has refocused itself on Central Asia, especially on the Fergana Basin, which extends over Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. According to USGS and the EIA reports, the resource potential of the Fergana Basin has 4 billion barrels of recoverable oil, of which 75% is undiscovered.
