Solar power (PV panels)
Solar energy is an important and the third biggest renewable power source, with photovoltaic (PV) technology the dominant source. Photovoltaics (PV) covers the conversion of light into electricity using semiconducting materials that exhibit the photovoltaic effect, a phenomenon studied in physics, photochemistry, and electrochemistry.
