Tullip Energy

Description

Tullip Energy Exploration and Development has a portfolio of energy projects executed in Kazakhstan, the Middle East and is actively seeking projects in Africa in the field of oil and gas exploration and production, mining and geothermal and solar energy. The management team of Tullip Energy has extensive knowledge of these regions and over a century of combined experience of operating experience in the development and production of oilfields.

Oil and Gas
Since oil will remain the major energy resource in the 21st century, Tullip Energy continue to participate in oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan.

Geothermal
Although geothermal is presently a minor player in the field of renewable energy, Tullip Energy believe that this source will be developing rapidly in the coming decades as it is as close to a perfect source of renewable energy as one can get thanks to its virtually limitless supply.

Mining
The countries that the company operate in are rich in mineral resources and Tullip Energy's vision includes having a close look at any potential opportunities in this field.

Solar power (PV panels)
Solar energy is an important and the third biggest renewable power source, with photovoltaic (PV) technology the dominant source. Photovoltaics (PV) covers the conversion of light into electricity using semiconducting materials that exhibit the photovoltaic effect, a phenomenon studied in physics, photochemistry, and electrochemistry. A typical photovoltaic system employs solar panels, each comprising a number of solar cells, which generate electrical power. The first step is the photoelectric effect followed by an electrochemical process where crystallized atoms, ionized in a series, generate an electric current. PV Installations may be ground-mounted, rooftop mounted or wall mounted.
