Kraken Robotics is a marine technology company providing advanced sonar and laser systems and subsea power solutions for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles for military and commercial applications. We are world-leading innovators of Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) – a revolutionary underwater imaging technology providing ultra-high-resolution imagery at superior coverage rates which dramatically improves seabed surveys.

Kraken’s series of SAS products, AquaPix®, offers comparable performance to existing high-end military systems at a fraction of the cost. This allows Kraken to deliver the highest quality at the lowest cost per pixel on the market.

The company is headquartered in Newfoundland with offices in Canada, U.S., Germany, Denmark, and Brazil. In July 2021, Kraken acquired PanGeo Subsea, a leading services company specializing in high-resolution 3D acoustic imaging solutions for the sub-seabed used to mitigate risk in offshore installations. PanGeo with offices in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Kraken.
