Red Rock Power Limited is a growing, European energy company based in Scotland and owned by SDIC Power, a global power generation company headquartered in Beijing, China. After the acquisition of Repsol’s UK offshore wind business in early 2016, Red Rock Power’s Edinburgh team has grown significantly, with valuable experience from across some of the UK and Europe’s biggest infrastructure projects.
Red Rock Power’s project portfolio currently includes three wind developments – Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, Afton Wind Farm and Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm – and the company is interested in expanding into the wider European renewable and sustainable energy market.
Red Rock Power Limited is a European subsidiary of SDIC Power, a global power company based in Beijing. SDIC operates hydropower, wind farms, photovoltaic and coal fired power plants, with a total installed capacity of approximately 34.36GW – 54% of which is from renewable generation. It aims to have 4.6 GW of generation capacity outside of China by 2020.
