HonuWorx develops technology to drive down the costs and environmental impact of deploying and operating robotic systems offshore.

Their software technology is an edge-cloud architected communications and control platform that enables geographically distributed stakeholders to see data, collaborate, supervise, and control robotic systems that are beyond line-of-sight. The platform enables robotic autonomy at the Edge so uncrewed vessels can become communication platforms and powerful motherships for worker robots that collaborate to perform useful work.

HonuWorx utilize the software platform to efficiently integrate teams of robots that can be deployed as solutions to remote offshore challenges across the blue economy ranging from building scientific understanding of offshore habitats and restoring them to natural balance, to supporting the transition to clean energy and defending valuable seabed infrastructure from bad actors.
