In November 2011, the Yemeni government agreed to establish the Masila Company for Petroleum Exploration and Production (PetroMasila) at block 14 in Masila area, Hadramout province. In December 2015, PetroMasila took over from Tullow as operator of Block 10 (East Shabwa).
