Description

SK Earthon, the energy resource development subsidiary of SK Innovation, is the exploration and production (E&P) subsidiary of SK Innovation, focused on upstream oil and gas development across Asia. Since its spin-off in 2021, it has rapidly expanded its international footprint, operating in multiple offshore blocks in countries including Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China. In Vietnam, SK Earthon has built a “clustering” strategy to develop adjacent oil fields (such as Blocks 15-1/05 and 15-2/17) efficiently, while in Malaysia it holds operatorship of major offshore acreage, and in Indonesia it has secured promising production-sharing contracts.

Backed by decades of technical expertise and SK Innovation’s resources, SK Earthon positions itself as a modern E&P company: deeply rooted in conventional oil production but committed to transitioning toward cleaner energy solutions.
